Lisa Fritsch began at KLBJ in 2004 as a fill-in talk show host on “The Morning Show.”  Lisa has been a published writer for over 10 years covering social and political issues that have been published been published in several newspapers and magazines across the country including The Austin- American Statesman, The Dallas Morning News, The Weekly Challenger, The Baltimore Times, and Today's Black Woman, Austin Monthly, and Urban Spectrum concerning pop-culture, life and politics. Lisa speaks Spanish and Japanese and she can sometimes ramble a little French.  She is graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Asian Studies with an emphasis on Japanese language and literature.

Fritsch has worked in the Silicon Valley where she worked in high-teach and owned her own consulting firm. Clients included Lucent Technologies and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. She continues to appear regular as a guest host on AM 590 KLBJ's "Morning Show" and has been a featured guest on other talk show programs including "The Right Talk " radio program, “The Rhett Palmer Show” in Florida, and “The Mark Reardon Show” in New York City.  She continues to write freelance and as a member of the National Center for Public Policy Research where her commentary is regularly published. She was recently selected to share her story of positive transformation for "Project T" through Austin’s Milkshake Media. She is an avid community activist who has served on the board of the Austin Republican Women, and has served many non-profit organizations such as Life Works, Any Baby Can, and St. David's Foundation. Fritsch is an avid tennis player and reader. She is most importantly a mom of two and a wife of one lucky man.
