Through a contract with Capitol Metro, Austin Community College will start offering students in the spring of 2010 a green pass, which executive vice president Ben Ferrell says will allow them to use the bus system to travel anywhere in the city free of charge. Ferrell says the increased student fee will raise about 750 thousand dollars a year to pay for the program.
