The Texas Capitol swarmed with angry protesters Wednesday maligning the IRS tax code, and many cynical on the day of the federal tax deadline. There was no official count of attendees.

"Somebody told me 5,000. I honestly have no idea. I'm real pleased with the turnout; I think it shows a lot of interest. I think we have some
great speakers and some wonderful people here," Greg Holloway, event organizer said. "We have a reenactment to the 1773 Boston Tea Party and we're going to make it as close as we can to that."

People like Dave Henson held signs with varying messages in a mostly anti-Obama tone.

"Our government has gone totally off the reservation and it's up to common, ordinary people like you and I to get it back to what it was meant to be, which is a service to the people," Henson said.

The rally officially began at four o'clock and wrapped up just after six.
