Two Austin men arrested at the Republican National Convention will stay in jail for now. David McKay and Bradley Crowder of Austin will stay in a Minnesota jail until they are indicted or if they are indicted they go to trial following allegations they had Molotov cocktails at the Republican National Convention.
There are reports that the two are also being looked at in connection with the arson fire at the Governor’s Mansion but McKay’s attorney Jeff Degree says that didn’t come up at a hearing Wednesday. "To be real clear about it had the government had any evidence at all that suggests they may have been involved with that they could have brought it up in front of the judge."
Degree says he asked McKay about the Governor’s Mansion case and he says McKay told him he didn’t have anything to do with it.
