Round Rock pastor pleads guilty to theft

Donald "Roddy" Clyde has pleaded guilty to two counts of felony theft. Clyde, the former pastor of the Fellowship at Forest Creek had been scheduled for trial next month. He instead appeared before District Judge Ken Anderson this morning at the Williamson County Justice Center to enter his plea. A sentencing hearing has been set for October 2nd.

Clyde turned himself into police last August after allegations he had stolen funds from the fellowship. He is also accused of using the church's American Express card to make personal purchases. According to court documents, Clyde admitted to stealing around a half million dollars.

He has since paid back over $300,000 in restitution.
