A Texas state lawmaker is facing charges of driving while intoxicated.
Rep. Mike Krusee, a Republican from Round Rock, was arrested Wednesday night and released Thursday morning after posting $1,000 bail. That's according to Williamson County Sheriff's spokesman John Foster, who declined to give further details.
Krusee, the chairman of the House Transportation Committee, was arrested by a Department of Public Safety trooper. Krusee is not running for re-election this year.
