Austin's Pearce Middle School PTA is holding a forum this week. For the past three years the school has been labeled as academically unacceptable, based on TAKS test scores. PTA head Charlotte Dutson says she does not want that to happen again.
Dutson says she does NOT believe the school is in real danger of being closed as the state has suggested. The next round of middle school TAKS test will be administered over the next few weeks.
