Democratic Representative from Austin Eddie Rodriguez has filed a resolution he wants to be sent to homeland security. He is asking the federal government to find another way to house immigrant families seeking asylum in U.S. Attorney Frances Valdez is with the "Texans United for Families Coalition" and that organization and others are meeting at the capitol today in support of the resolution. Valdez spoke to Williamson county commissioners last month.
