Family members of Jennifer Cresente, the Bowie high student found dead on February 15th, will be in attendance at tonight's gradation as a tribute to her. Jennifer's grandmother, Dr. Elizabeth Richeson, says tonight's ceremony will already be painful for the family members, but this misunderstanding is adding insult to injury.
A spokesperson for AISD says no matter how difficult it is to hear, a state law requires a graduate to finish the state mandated curriculum before being handed a diploma. Crecente's former boyfriend, Justin Allen Crabbe, is charged with her murder.
