Close to 100 Austin fire fighters were able to put out a massive a blaze at the Edge Creek Condominiums under control this morning.

The effected building's 48 units were evacuated and those residents will not be able to return home. 

 

Officials with the American Red Cross of Central texas are on the scene.

Captain Andy Reardon says they believe the 4-alarm fire started in the attic of one of the buildings that makes up the apartment complex on Metric Blvd.  He says investigators are now able to get into the building.

 

No injuries have been reported.
